Supporting adults and college students through anxiety, depression, trauma/PTSD, chronic stress or pain, relationship strain, grief, and identity development, this counselor offers a calm, collaborative space for both understanding and change. With an M.A. in Clinical Counseling from Saint Michael’s College and training at UVM Counseling and Psychiatry Services, work has centered on helping young adults and adults navigate life transitions and academic or workplace pressures.

Sessions blend insight-oriented (psychodynamic) therapy with practical methods from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (values-based work), and Dialectical Behavior Therapy, with gentle mind–body awareness when helpful. The tone is warm and grounded: slow the moment, name what hurts, connect emotions and body cues, and practice small, workable skills between sessions. Goals are set together and pacing is respectful—no forced disclosures, clear choice at every step. The focus is on easing symptoms, clarifying values, strengthening boundaries, and building daily habits that support the life and relationships clients want.
