Emma Stanganelli earned a Master of Social Work, with a concentration in clinical practice, from Boston University. She has extensive experience working with children, adolescents, and young adults across school-based, community mental health, and supportive care settings. During her first-year graduate internship, Emma served as a case manager and social-emotional group facilitator for youth ages 8–14 in a school-based setting. Most recently, she completed a clinical internship at a community mental health center, where she provided individual psychotherapy, parent coaching, and group therapy to clients ages 6–22.

Emma has primarily worked with young children and adolescents experiencing anxiety, depression, behavioral challenges, grief, and interpersonal issues. She has facilitated groups including a peer support and life skills group for autistic young adults and an emotional support group for elementary-aged children. Emma has also provided consultation to camp counselors to support the mental and emotional well-being of both campers and staff. Her clinical work is guided by an empathic, client-centered approach, and she has training in delivering exposure and response prevention therapy for the treatment of OCD and phobias.
